Race Car Live - 2009 Fantastic interest in series, with many new registrations..
The weekend saw a return of John Thorne piloting his M3 on circuit. This was the first outing for him since his high speed crash at Silverstone back in September during a test day. Comments throughout the weekend were of the value of the series. With registration costing £275, and event entry fees of £450-550 (Depending on circuit) if you have an M3 Track / Race car of any description it could take less than you think to get you on the grid in May. We could not believe the amount of interest in the series after chatting with West Suffolk Racing & AJEC Racing who are keen to enter with E36 & E46 cars. The grid for 2010 is looking very strong, and this before registrations are accepted! We anticipate 8-10 E46's, 8-10 E36's and 2-3 E92 M3's which, given the quality of racing in 2009, should mean exceptional viewing at every round. The calendar has 7 confirmed rounds, with the 8th and unconfirmed event at Donington in September. The biggest media change for 2010 is the inclusion of the CSL Cup in the Television coverage of the Dunlop Great & British - with LIVE TV at selected rounds. The CSL Cup will be exhibiting at the Autosport Show at the NEC in January, where we expect all details of the series to be confirmed. Free Tickets to Autosport International If you register for the 2010 CSL Cup before 31st December... Using the Drivers Registration Form, send this to the CSL Cup administration. You will then receive 2 complimentary tickets for Autosport International on January 14th-17th. To be kept up to date with all CSL Cup related matter, and to be added to our mailing list please send an e-mail to info@cslcup.co.uk. |
